Gallery IKOI is pleased announce the photograph exhibition "Planet of Rabbits",
the first solo show in the Netherlands by Japanese artist Toshie Takeuchi.
"Planet of Rabbits" is a series of panoramic large digital montage photographs.
It represents random scenarios played by children dressed up in bunny costumes.
The exhibition shows selected edition size photographs from the series.
Toshie Takeuchi is a Japanese visual artist who currently lives and works in Amsterdam.
Her art practice is often focused on exploring psychological intent behind body languages. She re-creates narratives in a world where a sense of fantasy merges in a reality.
The work of Toshie Takeuchi has been exhibited internationally in Denmark, England, Germany, Finland, USA and among other countries

We're very pleased to announce our upcoming exhibition 'HOTEL GALAXY' by SHAHAMIN from the 26th of November!
SHASHAMIN is a Japanese illustrator and cartoonist based in Tokyo.He is active in many different fields, creating - among others - animations and characters for music videos and commercials. One of his specialties is making "kawaii" characters and illustrations.
This posters exhibition features his works fictitious resort-hotels images in the near future from the animation in the 60's!
The opening reception will be held on Friday, Nov 26 from 5PM to 8PM.
The artist will be attending the opening! We'll serve some Japanese traditional sweets,and shochu(a clear liquor) at the opening,come and join us on the 26th!
