
IKOI is settled in Amsterdam since May 2009, and all along this year course IKOI has been showing the works by three main Japanese artists who play an active and influential role in Manga and videogames.
IKOI is also proud to introduce to European audience their Exhibition #1 focused on silkscreen works of these three significant Japanese artist, probably the best example of Japanese creativity nowadays.



Born in 1973, in Tokyo Japan. After working at ASCII Corporation, he founded Tsuyoshi Kusano Design Co. His major works include “Fullmetal Alchemist” and “Eureka Seven “ for art direction, “Tekkon Kinkreet” for promotional art design. He is a part-time lecturer at Musashino Art University, and is a graphic designer for a wide range of fields.

Born in 1974,in Tokyo, Japan. He started demonstrating his talent as an illustrator in the mid 90’s, and made his comic debut in 2004. Since then, he has been actively drawing, writing and creating his works for art, literary, and cultural magazines and publications. His acclaimed comic series ”Điện Biên Phủ” currently appear in a manga magazine, Monthly IKKI.

Born in 1980 in Saitama, Japan. She made a brilliant debut as a manga artist in 2002,received the special award for “Bukimi Yokocho(Sinister Street)” from Koddansya Publishing. She is considered one of the most promising young manga artists of this generation, and has already earned a dedicated following.
